Am I Fertile Right Now?

Knowing your fertility window can be a God send when trying for a baby ad thanks to Ava Women there’s a new tracker available that’s wearable.

Technology is making our lives easier than ever before. With one tap, we can call a car to pick us up, order dinner, or share a photo. But when it comes to issues that specifically impact women, we’re often stuck in the last century. Cycle tracking is one of these issues.
The cycle tracking industry hasn’t seen any true innovation in decades.  Ava was built because they believe that women deserve a more modern method of tracking their cycles. They deserve accurate, reliable data about their cycles, delivered in a way that’s convenient and non-invasive.

How It Works

The Ava bracelet is a completely unprecedented method of tracking the menstrual cycle. While the user is sleeping, Ava’s sensors collects data on nine different physiological parameters. These parameters are fed into an algorithm in order to detect the fertile window.
Other methods of fertility tracking rely on only a single parameter, and thus cannot provide a complete picture of fertility in real time. Ava detects the very first signs that the fertile window is beginning, and confirms when it ends.
And because Ava is a wearable device, it provides accurate information about the cycle with minimal user effort. Wear Ava during sleep, and wake up to insight on fertility, sleep, stress, and resting heart rate.

The Clinical Proof

Ava completed a year-long clinical study at the University Hospital of Zurich under the lead of Prof. Dr. Brigitte Leeners, the leading expert on the mathematical modeling of menstrual cycles. Ava was found to identify an average of 5.3 fertile days per cycle with an accuracy of 89 percent.
The results of the study were presented in June 2016 at the Swiss Society of Obstetrics and Gynecology Annual Congress and October 2016 at the German Society of Obstetrics and Gynecology Annual Congress. Bayer, the leading women’s health company, is sponsoring Ava’s presentations.
