H&M’s annual luxury fashion collaboration is set to release tomorrow the 7th November. The highly anticipated drop with haute couture fashion house Giambattista Valli is expected to sell out in record time, as a 9 piece capsule collection was released ahead of the main collection back in May, which sold out in minutes and led to the crash of the H&M website.
Pieces from the pre-release collection drop are being sold on resale sites for thousands of pounds. The popular Pink Tulle gown modelled by the face of the campaign Kendall Jenner is due to be restocked in a new colourway after a surge in demand and social buzz over the desired dress on Instagram. A showcase of the Parisian inspired collaboration was held in Rome on the 24th October, with supermodel Kendall Jenner opening and closing the glamorous showcase at the Palazzo Doria Pamphilj.
An unusual collaboration for the fashion house as couture designs are not usually associated with low prices. The collection has enabled the fashion house to cater to a new demographic, offering couture pieces at an affordable price point, whilst instilling the brand’s core identity and DNA increasing global awareness for the brand. Price points range from £29.99 for to £399 for the more intricate detailed collection pieces. The November release will also be inclusive of a range of Menswear pieces from sharp tailored suits to floral motif shirts.
